Johnson Kin, Ph.D - CEO and Co-Founder
Johnson Kin has more than 15 years experience in the electronic design automation (EDA) software industry.
He has strong background in algorithms, logic analysis, optimization, compilers, and parallel programming.
Johnson has previously worked at companies such as AMD, Agilent, Boeing, Virage, and various EDA startups.
Johnson holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from UCLA, and a recipient of the Intel Ph.D. fellowship award in 2000.
He received his BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley.
John Sun - CTO and Co-Founder
John Sun brings over 13 years of software development experience to Rankmind.
John has a strong background in designing and implementing large scale websites supporting millions of users.
He has extensive knowledge in both backend software systems as well as front-end website technologies.
Prior to Rankmind, John worked as a senior software developer at Netscape, Sun Microsystems, and AOL.
John holds a BS degree in Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley.
Richard Goldstein - VP of Business Operations and Co-Founder
Richard Goldstein is a veteran software recruiter/owner/operator in Silicon Valley for the last 25 years.
He is the founder and President of Design Automation Consultants, a premier search firm that has specialized for over 20 years in the EDA software business. He was most recently the Director of Business Operations at Kilopass Inc.
He has also held positions as internal recruiter at Magma Design Automation, Synplicity, and many other software startups.
He is member of SHRM, the largest organization of human-resource professionals.
Bernie Aronson
- Board Advisor
Bernie Aronson is a software and semiconductor veteran with over 40 years of experience in Silicon Valley.
Bernie has founded many software companies, including two which he has taken public.
He served as CEO and President at Synplicity, Inc., which he took public in 2000 and was later acquired by Synopsys.
Earlier, he served as CEO and President at Epic Design Technology, which he took public in 1994 and was also acquired by Synopsys. At Pico Design, he was founder and CEO, which was acquired by Motorola. At Kilopass Technology, he served as CEO and President.
During his long career, Bernie has held senior executive positions at many large companies, including Synopsys, Zoran, and Motorola. He currently serves on the boards of Gradient Design Automation, eASIC, and InPA Systems. Previously Bernie was a board member of Taray, Inc, which was acquired by Cadence Design Systems.
Mr. Aronson received his BEE degree in Electrical Engineering from CUNY.
